Description

Orange Spice is your energetic, backpacking, tea-loving gypsy soul. Best for people with limp, thin, or oily hair, this shampoo bar gives hair volume with epsom salt, sweet orange, ginger, and cinnamon. Refreshing and energizing, this is a super-fave of all our titas out there!

Vegan, NO soap, lye, sulfates (SLS/SLES), parabens, silicones, preservatives and artificial fragrances. ~ 80 washes, 6 months shelf life. pH balanced at 5.5

Our production process takes two full weeks for each bar, so we would appreciate if you bought these only for your needs. We also recommend not to stock up on this product as we do not use any preservatives.

Disclaimer: Conditioner, shampoo, and feminine wash bars may arrive with oily wrapper or a little melted. Bits and pieces are natural for shampoo and feminine wash bars due to the ingredients. White spots are 100% natural for Buttercake Conditioner Bars, this is called chocolate bloom, which is the caused by changes in the fat crystals in the cocoa butter. Nothing we can do about change in temperature during transit. Item will still work as intended. If possible, pls buy this from our physical locations.

How To Use

  1. Hair that has been exposed to excessive hair products and pollution and those with oily hair will benefit from a rinse before switching to a shampoo bar. Mix 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar (available at any grocery store) into a cup of water and use to rinse your hair. You may leave this on for 3 mins. This is to ensure that oils and buildup are lifted from the hair and scalp, and the acidity of the rinse will also close and flatten the cuticle layer of the hair, reducing frizziness.
  2. Wet hair and rub shampoo bar onto hair. For a more economical approach, work up a lather using the shampoo bar and your hand then work onto your hair. Shampoo bars are less foamy than shampoos, since we use gentle plant based surfactants. You won’t need a lot.
  3. Rinse.
  4. Do steps 2-3 but with the conditioner bar. Use only a little, as a small amount will give you the slip that you need.
  5. It is recommended to do the apple cider vinegar rinse once a week to avoid buildup of sebum, pollution and other hair products. You will know that it’s time to do a rinse when hair feels greasy, heavy, or frizzy.

Packaging

100% recycled kraft paper and 100% biodegradable rice glue, hand stamped with ecofriendly inks. Bars may need to be placed inside recycled paperbags or recycled paper to avoid damages to the product, and damages to other items included in your order.
